Tasting Notes
酒評 | The Acte 4 is a blend of 51% Merlot picked on 8th October and 49% Cabernet Franc on 13th October – a high percentage of the latter as it is planted of limestone soils. It has a fragrant nose where by the Merlot is actually more expressive than the Cabernet Franc, which is quite unusual. The palate is medium-bodied with tense, fine tannins. It is compact at the moment but it will open up during elevage. There is great purity here, with a very natural balance and a finish that builds nicely in the mouth. Tasted April 2013.
